9th Grade World History
Welcome to 9th grade World History! This is a semester long course that will cover topics such as: connecting hemispheres, absolutism, revolution, industrialism, empires, and the World Wars.
9/5: Freshmen participated in a ship-building activity! They used popsicle sticks, duct tape, foil, and construction paper to make a ship that resembles the fleet of Zheng He, a Chinese naval admiral. Students were in groups and had to meet requirements of making a boat that had 3 layers, 6 sails, and 1 flag. This ship had to float for two minutes while holding 350 grams of weight. All four freshmen classes did an amazing job! Enjoy some of the photos below.
